Two marquise-cut diamonds with a total weight of 8.93 ct, color D–F, clarity Internally Flawless. The marquise cut was found at the French court of the 18th century. The name Pompadour traces back to a legend: that Louis XV commissioned a cut echoing the shape of the lips of his favorite, the Marquise de Pompadour.
We set the diamonds in an unconventional way — horizontally, at a slight tilt. The line of that tilt visually continues the line of the lower face. These earrings form a set with the
Pompadour ring.
